I would say that I am not very comfortable delivering bad news. I am not comfortable because I do not like making people upset and especially do not like having people upset with me. If I was to deliver poor news to someone, although the bad news may not be my fault, I would feel very uncomfortable upsetting someone and having someone associate me with the message I delivered. I also do not have much experience delivering extremely bad news. I have had to tell people that items were damaged in their homes, but nothing worse than a wine glass knocked off the counter. I can imagine how delivering worse news feels in a professional setting. As much as I would love to never have to deliver bad news to anyone, I know this is unrealistic in a world full of negative events, so it is best to learn how to deliver this news appropriately."
