a) Explain what elements the Introduction section of a lab report should contain. Then analyze the following Introduction and discuss whether it contains those elements, and what, if anything, should be changed. DO'NOT simply rewrite it; instead, analyze its deficiencies and suggest improvements.

b) The following is from a Discussion section. It is badly written. Rewrite it so that it follows the guidelines

taught in this class. (Note: Consider this to be from some generic experiment, not any specific experiment, so do not add any elements from a specific experiment.)

"1) Sigma is 1.24379 between the theoretical and experimental values, so that means you have good agreement

2) We had a problem with the equipment, so John went back and re-measured the lengths. After that our results were much better."
