The elastic modulus of the steel and concrete are ES = 29 Msi and EC = 4.2 Msi, respectively. If the post is subjected to a 350-kip axial force at its centroid, determine:

a. The normal force in each steel bar NS
b. The normal stress in the concrete σC.
