For this case we can model the problem as two similar rectangle triangles.
 We then have to simulate triangles:
 [tex]x / 400 = 10 / (10 + 190) [/tex]
 Rewriting we have:
 [tex]x / 400 = 10 / (200) [/tex]
 From here, we clear the value of x:
 [tex]x = (10 / (200)) * (400) x = 20 feet[/tex]
 Answer:
 the tree is 20 feet tall
