We are given

first equation:

[tex] x-3y=4 [/tex]

second equation:

[tex] Qx-6y=8 [/tex]

Our second equation will be same as first equation if we multiply 2 in first equation

so, we will multiply 2 in first equation

[tex] 2*x-2*3y=2*4 [/tex]

[tex] 2x-6y=8 [/tex]

now, we can see that this equation is same as second equation

so, we can compare both

and we get

[tex] Q=2 [/tex]..............Answer
