So dividing by a number is the equivalent to multiplying by the reciprocal. Flip 5/2 to its reciprocal and change the division sign to multiplication. From there solve as such:

[tex] \frac{7500}{1}\times \frac{2}{5}=\frac{15000}{5}=3000 [/tex]

The answer is 3000.

1. Use this rule: a ÷ [tex] \frac{b}{c}  [/tex] = a x [tex] \frac{c}{b}  [/tex]

So 7500 x [tex] \frac{2}{5} [/tex]

2. Simplify

[tex] \frac{15000}{5}  [/tex]

3. Simplify again

Answer: 3000
