Since you didn't write the signs, I have to make some suggestions, this is what I assume:

If ƒ(x )= 2x²+3, then ƒ(x - 1)= 2x²+4x+5.


So, how much is ƒ(x-1?)


it would be= 2(x-1)²+3=2(x-1)(x-1)+3=2(x²-2x+1)+3=2x²-4x+2+3=2x²-4x+5


So, yes, if my assumption is correct, then it's true!
