There are 4 different types of ringworm and without knowing exactly which type you are looking for may matter.

In general Ringworm (tinea) have these common reservoirs.

humans, animals and soil

Based on different types:

capitis-humans and animals

coporis-humans, animals and soil

pedis-humans

unguium-humans and rarely animals or soil

Reservoirs for "tinea" are: "tinea capitis" - humans and animals, including dogs, cats and cattle....
