Find the common denominator:
7/8+6/8
= 13/8 or [tex]1 \frac{5}{8} [/tex]

Since 3/4 equals 6/8, you do 7/8 + 6/8 =
11/8
and that can be simplified to
1 and 3/8
and put into decimal form like
