According to the mythology Ramayan happened first and then comes mahabharat.

There are some evidence that does suggest the happening of a great war about 3500 years ago which could be the origin of the epic of Mahabharat but no historical or archeological evidence is available for Ramayan.

Yes of course, Ramayana is the tale of Sri RamaChandra from treta yug and Mahabharat is the tale of the epic battle of Kurukshetra from dwapar yug.

The yug cycle goes from Satya, then Treta, then Dwapar, then Kali Yug in which we are living at the present.
