The Enlightenment was a change in science and the study of the human body, this was a time when the people started to question the church just like the people in the American revolution questioned the British government about the taxes and extra payments they were paying, the people started to revolt in the Boston tea party and in the enlightment scientists started to show how the earth really worked for example the heliocentric theory and the geocentric theory.
