The organism is likely to be a bacteria. They are unicellular organisms that occur singularly or in colonies. The nuclear material is not enclosed within a nuclear membrane hence said to be prokaryotic. Most of them are heterotrophic. They have a cell wall made up of proteins and sugars rather than cellulose as in the case with green plants.
