Find the arc length of the partial circle.
Known :
r = 7
θ = 90°
Asked :
Arc length of the partial circle = ...?
Answer :
Arc length (decimal)
[tex]= \frac{θ}{360} \times 2\pi r \\ = \frac{90}{360} \times 2 \times 3.14\times 7 \\ = \frac{1}{4} \times 43.96 \\ = 10.99[/tex]
or
Arc length
[tex] = \frac{90}{360} \times 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 \\ = \frac{1}{4} \times 44 \\ = 11[/tex]
Hope it helps and is useful :)
