Explain the difference in the final product of (a + b)^2 and (a – b)^2.

(a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2
(a-b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2

The difference in the final product is that if you plug it in the quadratic equation, the value of your b changes.
