can anyone do this quick please
I just did this one because it said distance formula of points. I don't know what the second line is saying.
Step-by-step explanation:
A (-8,-2) = (x1, y1)
B (6,-1) = (x2,y2)
now,
distance formula,
=
[tex] \sqrt( x2+ x1)^{2} + (y2 - y1) ^{2} [/tex]
=
[tex] \sqrt( 6 + 8)^{2} + ( - 1 + 2)^{2} [/tex]
=
[tex] \sqrt(14)^{2} - (1)^{2} [/tex]
=
[tex] \sqrt(196 - 1)[/tex]
=
[tex] \sqrt{195} [/tex]
