You may chose any subject or object you are interested in that has distinct texture. Create a 5 inch by 5 inch study of the object in your sketchbook. please include a reference image of your object/subject.
So choose an object you find interesting, then you sketch it in a 5x5 area (inches) in your sketchbook. and then when submitting the sketch add the picture of the object that you were drawing off.
