From the human perspective, what is the major problem with Earth’s water:
Most water is too polluted to be useful

The majority of the water is in inaccessible locations

97% is too salty to drink or use for irrigation

Fish pee in the water, and that’s gross

Also, salty water can be frozen and melted into fresh water. Boiling water also helps get rid of bacteria, and we can reuse deep sea water with a piping system of some sort (I read about that in National Geographic. It's a project they were working on)
