Answer:

The Montagues and Capulets were Romeo and Juliet's parents. Their actions consisted of fighting amongst each other, The Capulet's arranging Juliet a marriage she didn't want and once both the Montague's and Capulet's children were dead they began to make up. It was really quite a tragedy that it took the death of both their children to end their petty fighting.
