ok so 6-2x=6x-10x+2
you can either get rid of the variable or the number, imma show u the number
so subtract 6 from both sides
so it'll be -2x=6x-10x+2-6
cause 6 is on the other side
then do 6x-10x=-4x
so -2x=-4x+2-6
then do 2-6=-4
so -2x=-4x-4
then add 4x to both sides
so 2x=-4
divide by 2 on both sides
x=-2
