30% times by x is 9. (x is the number we’re trying to figure out) another way to put this equation is 30/100 times x = 9. now let’s multiply both sides by 100 and divide both sides by thirty. we have x = 9 times 100/30. so the answer is 30. the puppy’s full weight is 30 pounds. hope this helps :)

What you’re going to do is multiply 9x100/30
9x100=900
900/30 = 30

The dog will weigh 30 pounds
