Solve the equation and round to the nearest ten-thousandth.

log2 4x = 5
(2 is the base)

Respuesta :

Azieq
log2 4x = log2 5
log2 4 + log2 4x = log2 5
4x = 5
x = 5/4

i am a mathematics teacher. if anything to ask please pm me
The solution to the problem is as follows:

log2 4x = 5.

We could say this as 2 is raised to 5th power and is equal to 4x.

Using exponentials, 4x = 2^5 = 32.

Therefore, x = 8.
