{{ NOTE: ^2 means squared }}

(3d + 3) (2d^2 + 5d - 2)

Separate the first bracket to multiply by the second:
3d (2d^2 + 5d - 2) + 3 (2d^2 + 5d - 2)

Multiply out the brackets:
6d^3 + 15d^2 - 6d + 6d^2 + 15d - 6

Tidy up:
6d^3 + 21d^2 + 9d - 6
