One number is 21 and the other is 23
I know this because they both have to be the same number but one of them has to have 2 more than the other and this is the only pairs of numbers that an equal 44 together.
Here are some trials i had to figure this out.
12+ 14 =26
13+ 15=28
16+ 18= 34
18+ 20= 38
19+ 21=40
21 +23= 44
