Answer:

f(x) = 6 x^2 - 1

f(2) = 6 * 2^2 - 1 = 23

f(-1) = 6 * -1^2 - 1 = 6 * 1 - 1 = 5

f(2) - f(-1) = 23 - 5 = 18
