(2w -3) *w = 54

2w² - 3w = 54

2w² - 3w - 54= 0

2w² - 12w + 9w -54 = 0

2w(w - 6) + 9(w- 6)=0

(w-6)(2w + 9) = 0

Ignore (2w + 9) as measure wont be negative

w -6 = 0

w = 6 ft

length = 2*6 - 3 = 12-3 = 9 ft
