Explain why 3|2x+1|<-9 has no solution

First of all, you have to know |2x+1| is >0 or =0 forever. However, -9 divided by 3 equals -3. -3 is still negative. How can a positive number or zero is less than a negative number? In a word, 3|2x+1|<-9 has no solution.
