The bike shop rents bikes for 10$ plus 4$ per hour. You paid 30$ to rent a bike. For how many hours did you rent the bike?

paid 10 in advance so that's 30-10 which is 20.

As it's 4 dollars per hour, 20 will be divided by 4.

20/4 = 5

So 5 hours.
