Since time is constant, Kofi has always had to have been five years older than Ama. If at one point Kofi was twice Ama’s age, at that time, Kofi would have had to have been 10, while Ama would be 5. Since that would be two years ago, Kofi would now be 12, and Ama would now be 7.
