Find f(4) when f(x)= x^2 + 5x +2

In order to find f evaluated at 4, we need to replace the number 4 into the place of x, that is,

[tex]f(4)=(4)^2+5(4)+2[/tex]

which gives

[tex]f(4)=16+20+2[/tex]
