the equation is:

[tex]-15+n=-9[/tex]

For solving the equation for n, we can add 15 to the bout sides of the equation:

[tex]-15+n+15=-9+15[/tex]

and noy we can solve the equation by doing the additions

[tex]n=6[/tex]
