we know the perimeter of a rectangle = 2*length + 2* width

let x be the width of the rectangle,

then 2x - 7 is the length of the rectangle.

Therefore, we have

64 = 2(2x - 7) + 2x

64 = 4x - 14 + 2x

64 + 14 = 6x

6x = 78

x = 78/6

x = 13 cm

Therefore, width of the rectangle is 13 cm
