The midpoint of AB is M(5,-2). If the coordinates of A are (6,-5), what are the coordinates of B

Mid point formula is

[tex]\begin{gathered} (x,y)=(\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_{1+}y_2}{2}) \\ (5,-2)=(\frac{6+x_2}{2},\frac{-5+y_2}{2}) \end{gathered}[/tex][tex]\begin{gathered} 5=\frac{6+x_2}{2} \\ 10=6+x_2 \\ 10-6=x_2 \\ 4=x_2 \end{gathered}[/tex][tex]\begin{gathered} -2=\frac{-5+y_2}{2} \\ -4=-5+y_2 \\ -4+5=y_2 \\ 1=y_2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Therefore the coordinates of B is (4,1)
