The general form of the equation of the line is

[tex]Ax+By+C=0[/tex]

In our case, we need to make equal to zero the equation given

[tex]y=7x+5[/tex]

[tex]-7x+y-5=0[/tex][tex]-7x+y=5[/tex]

or

[tex]7x-y+5=0[/tex]

[tex]7x-y=-5[/tex]
