i need help please how do you solve 3( x - 1/3 ) = 52

You would multiply 3 by whats in the parentheses and u would get 3x - 3 = 52. Then u would add 3 to both sides to get x by itself and then u would have 3x = 55. The divide both sides by 3 and then u would get x = 18.333333 or 18 and a third
