How do I find the perimeter of a triangular prism?

It doesn't make sense to find the perimeter of a solid figure. Perimeter is a property of plane (flat) figures.  

It is possible to find the surface area, lateral area, or volume of a solid figure.  It is possible to find the perimeter of the triangular base of the prism, and then use that perimeter to then find the lateral area. the answer is 6
