What specific area of business communications presents ethical questions by sometimes containing false and misleading messages for adults and especially children?
Advertising often brings up ethical questions when it misleads consumers, particularly vulnerable children, in to believing that a product will or can do more than it actually does. Such as cigarettes making one into a better cowboy, a toy bringing unending joy into a child's life, or a company offering objects to improve ones life drastically when in reality it's just a minimal, if any, adjustment.
