The answer is -2. To find this I doing the average by doing -8+4= -4 then divided it by 2 to get -2!

there is 12 spaces between -8 and 4....the midpoint will fall directly in the middle.....so 12/2 = 6...so 6 spaces will be the middle...6 spaces forward from -8 and 6 spaces backward from 4 will put u in the middle

-8 + 6 = -2 (add 6 to the -8)
4 - 6 = -2 (subtract 6 from 4)

so the midpoint is -2
