Aristotle's theory of matter states that every physical object has matter and form. Aristotle posited that matter is formed into the substance it is by the form in which it appears. He also states that every material thing has form. Aristotle's theory is formal and not atomistic. Atomistic theory states that all matter is composes of small indivisible particles.
