Since we’re trying to find the hourly change, we need to find out first the change in the temperature. We can convert 21 to a positive and subtract 63 from 21.

63 minus 21 is 42.
The temperature change would be positive 42 degrees.

Now, since we’re trying to find the hourly change, we’d need to do 42 divided by 12.

42 divided by 12 is is 3.5.

The hourly change in temperature is 3.5 degrees.
