The building blocks of protein are amino acids. Amino acids produced by the cells are synthesized in order to produce proteins. Vitamin B9(Folate) and Vitamin B12(Cobalamin) are the two B-vitamins needed in amino acid synthesis. These can be taken through dietary supplements.
