Respuesta :

[tex] 2^{-2} = \frac{1}{2^{2}} = \frac{1}{4} [/tex]

does this make sense to you? Do you have any questions about raising numbers to a negative value?
Any number raised to the negative power, is simply, 1 over that number raised to the opposite of the negative number.

For example, 2 to the power of -2 would end up being:

[tex] \frac{1}{ 2^{2} } [/tex] = 1/4

Same with all the others.

For example, 3 to the power of  -3 would end up being:

[tex] \frac{1}{ 3^{3} } [/tex]

And then you would just solve for the exponent on the bottom.
