Decompose and Compose are opposites.
Decompose is when you break numbers down.
543 decomposed would mean.. 500 + 40 + 3 - just like expanding.
Compose is the other way.
500 + 40 + 3 = 543
543 consists of 5 hundreds, 4 tens, and 3 ones.
