The  serectory  structure   that  produce  milk in  a  lactating  female  are alveoli. This  are  small  cluster of  the cells  that   are  responsible  for  producing  milk. In  the  breast  glands  alveoli  is  protected and  supported  by  a  connective  and fatty tissue. After  milk  is  produced  it  travels  down  the  duct  to  the  nipples.
