I think you meant, "The sum of 6 consecutive even integers is 426 what is the smallest of the 6?"
Represent the integers: x, x+2, x+4, x+6, x+8, x+10. Their sum is 426, and
426 = 6x + 30. Subtr. 30 from both sides, 396 = 6x, and x = 66.
