If ab=4x and bc=6x-10, find the length of ab.

If b is the mid point of AC,
then ab = bc
it means;
4x = 6x - 10
6x - 4x = 10
2x =10
x = 10/2
x = 5
Now, ab = 4x = 4 x 5 = 20
Thus, the value of
ab = 20
