Which ratio can be used to convert meters to kilometers

Hello!

We can use the ratio of 1000meters=1km

So if we have say 100meters and want this unknown we simply take
100m/1*1m/1000km=0.100km

We can also think of meters and kilometers in powers of ten.

1m=1.00*10^-3km=0.001km
