This government agency, established in 1942, was created by Franklin D Roosevelt. Even though it was created by him, it was lead by Donald Nelson from 1942-1944 and then by Julius Krug from 1944-1945. This agency helped to maximize output and efficiency in terms of the materials needed for the US’s success in World War II.
