The difference between the x-values is 5. 
The difference between the y-values is 10. 
Make a triangle with these points. 
The distance is the hypotenuse. 
Use the pythagorean theorem to get the distance. 
Square 5 and 10 to get 25 and 100. 
Add them together to get 125. 
Find the square root of 125. 
It is approximately 11.2 units.
